DeSales Media’s educational service, CTN, has been working all summer to develop a Media Communications Course with our academy. This unique collaboration will directly engage students with media professionals from DeSales.

This is a first-time collaboration that unites academic and creative professionals to inspire students to properly share their unique Catholic voices in a digital world.

Seventh and eighth graders in the course will cover the creative process from concept to distribution and will focus on developing modern media skills, including podcasting, video content creation, website design, digital citizenship, and journalistic writing.

Students in this interdisciplinary class will combine technical skills and media knowledge to produce a creative product – a podcast, video, website, article, etc. – that will focus on a topic selected in collaboration with their teachers and the DeSales professionals.
