Dr. Green comes to us after years of experience as a Principal in a Catholic school in Brooklyn, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor of Physics, Astronomy and Science in Education at Iona College. He previously taught AP and Honors Physics at The Ursuline School in New Rochelle. He also served as Physics, Earth Science and Anatomy teacher at The Mary Louis Academy.
Dr. Green earned his doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership from Concordia University and holds a Master’s degree in education from NYU. He also completed additional research and graduate studies in Nuclear Medicine at NYU.
He has a wealth of experience, including teaching in the sciences for more than 25 years. In his time as a principal, he has implemented reading programs for English Language Learners. He was also the first Principal to pioneer the implementation of a Weather station and Meteorology program at one of his former Catholic schools he served in the Diocese of Brooklyn Queens. In addition to teaching at the elementary, high school and collegiate levels, he has served as a district superintendent trainee. His experience also goes beyond the borders of the United States where he served in various capacities as Director at International schools in Asia and the Cayman Islands.
One of his goals is to continue to support a Christ-centered education that seeks to motivate all learners.
