Ms. Manuelsie Joseph

Hi and good day! My name is Manuelsie Joseph, and I'm thrilled to be teaching at Incarnation Academy. This is my first year here as a UPK teacher, but I already feel at home because my siblings and I graduated from the school.

Furthermore, Incarnation Church is also my family parish, and we are active members of the community.

Before changing my career to Early Childhood Education, I loved being an Emergency Medical Technician. I receive joy in caring for others, especially working with children. I am a recent graduate from LaGuardia Community College with a study plan to attend Brooklyn Community College in the fall and complete my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

Working with children has always been delightful, and it is second nature to me. I found myself thriving the most when working with the ages 2 through 5 years old because I love to believe I am a big kid at heart. In addition, I fell in love with the cognitive development of early childhood. I started working with children at the age of 13, and I am blessed to have experience working in daycares and summer camps as an after-school counselor, tutor, and volunteer lifeguard at the YMCA.

Among my strengths are my leadership and communication skills. I speak and understand Creole, French, and American Sign Language. I am a part of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) and NYC Men’s Teach.
